Kerron is a PhD candidate in the Finance Department at the Alvarez College of Business at University of Texas San Antonio. His research interests include Corporate Finance, Financial Intermediation, Banking, and the Finance-Growth Nexus. Prior to joining UTSA, Kerron worked for as a mathematics instructor at the high school, community college and university levels. He also earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stephen F. Austin State University.
