Background
Shana is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate at Michigan State University. Her research interests stem from substantive experience and are focused broadly on understanding the drivers of new product and service success across stages of development. Shana’s dissertation investigates the role of artificial intelligence tools in new product and service development and its impact on firm perceptions and performance. She teaches undergraduate and masters-level courses which topics include new product development, marketing strategy, conjoint analysis, corporate innovation, and Tableau. Shana also serves as an instructor for the MBA program’s design-thinking business challenge. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, she earned her MBA in Marketing and Leadership Change Management and has held positions in CPG consulting, new product development, and brand management.
