Background
Bukola Bakare is a Ph.D. candidate in Transportation and Logistics--Logistics and Supply Chain Management--in the College of Business at North Dakota State University. She is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Health Policy Research Scholar. Her research focuses on transportation data analysis, corporate social responsibility, and population health and health policy. Bukola received a B.B.A. Accounting from Georgia State University and a M.Acc. Accounting from Kennesaw State University. She taught undergraduate accounting courses in the University System of Georgia and private institutions as an adjunct professor for five years. She did consulting work in accounting for clients in healthcare management, medical transportation, immigration law, and business. She has participated in the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and Transportation Club Round-tables and served on the 2017 Culture of Health Panel at the American Public Health Association meetings. Bukola is a recipient of several grants including a competitive dissertation award from the RWJF.
