Background
Ann N. Mungai is a fourth-year Ph.D. student at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) majoring in Accounting. She earned her Bachelor of Science- and Master of Science- both in Accounting from The University of New Orleans, Louisiana. Before joining FAU for her Ph.D., Ann worked as an adjunct instructor at Mercer University, Georgia, where she taught Principles of Accounting and Principles of Finance. While teaching at Mercer University, Ann also worked as an accountant at Nichols, Cauley & Associates, LLC, Georgia. Ann is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Kenya, where she had practiced as an accountant before relocating to the USA. Her area of research is financial archival, with a concentration in international accounting. Ann is a current member of The Ph.D. Project and a recipient of the AICPA Minority Doctoral Fellowship.
