    Background

    Dr. Castater holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. She previously was on faculty at Clark Atlanta University as Assistant Professor of Finance and International Business. She has also taught at the University of Florida and the University of South Carolina. Her teaching experience includes courses in capital markets, financial analysis, international finance and corporate finance. Her research interests include public / private partnerships, financial institution development, and the privatization of military firms, and issues concerning doing business in Cuba . Dr. Castater received a Fulbright Scholarship to Vienna, Austria to complete her Ph.D. and speaks five languages. She has worked in Germany and Russia as a private business consultant.
