    Dr. Rochelle Parks-Yancy is Full Professor of Management at the Jesse H. Jones School of Business at Texas Southern University. Her PhD is from Rutgers University. Her face to face and online teaching expertise is in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior. Prior to academia, she directed executive development programs for managers and was account manager for a career development organization. Dr. Parks-Yancy’s research examines social capital's impact on careers.       -Completed the Faculty Engagement chapter for the JHJ AACSB reaccreditation report in 2016, which led to the JHJ reaccreditation.

      I also co-advise the JHJ Graduate Student Association. Our work includes:
      -Lead the JHJ Executive Lecture Series (CEO, business and political speakers are invited to speak to all JHJ graduate students),
      -Organize graduate student career fairs ( recruiting companies and participants for the career fair)
      -Other volunteer events to improve graduate students' career development.
