Support the Information Technology Services, Transportation and Mobility and Public Works Departments by conducting surveys and performing research and statistical analyses; coordinating and participating in organizational studies; developing recommendations based on findings; and directing and executing large scale performance and process improvement programs. This position supports the management of the City's Quality Management System.
Supported the Fort Lauderdale Police Department by performing statistical and research studies, drafting policies and procedures, preparing financial reports, and overseeing various programs related to operations and controls.
Collated information pertaining to criminal activity and prepared assessments of police data, and detecting patterns, structures, trends and movements of the criminal. Trained, reviewed and assisted lower level analysts in the performance of their duties. work independently, making decisions requiring the use of technical judgment and discretion. The Crime Analyst II level is gained due to the responsibility, the complexity and difficulty of projects and the independence of action expected due to the incumbent's level of experience. Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed through conferences, reports, records, adherence to schedules for projects and end results for conformance with prescribe policies and procedures of the Police Department.
