For the past three years, I have devoted her talents to the area of workforce development, assisting Pinellas County residents with becoming more employable and finding work. My future plans include pursing a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior/ Human Resources so that I can conduct research, write, teach, mentor, and travel internationally.       As program lead in the Workforce Development Program funded by the United Way Suncoast, the Career Connection Center at the Pinellas County Urban League, I assist unemployed and underemployed individuals find work while becoming more employable.
      • Coordinate and monitor all program activities in compliance with directives and goals
      • Prepare funding applications and grants for program financial support
      • Research and write grant applications for program funding
      • Assure the orderly maintenance and accuracy of all program records and files
      • Conduct outreach and marketing to various business throughout the Tampa Bay area
