Background
Edgar Rodriguez-Vazquez is an accounting doctoral student at the University of Washington conducting archival financial research. Edgar’s research interests include understanding the role of earnings in providing information about uncertainty, investors’ integrating activities around earnings announcements, and investors’ pricing of non-GAAP exclusions. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, Edgar worked 5 years in the Audit and Accounting Advisory practice of Ernst & Young.
