    Dr. Samuel A. Spralls III is Professor of Marketing at Central Michigan University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University. Dr. Spralls serves as Chair of the Personnel Committee for the Marketing Hospitality & Services Administration Department. At Central Michigan University, Dr. Spralls has received both the AT&T Award for Innovation/Excellence in Teaching (2010) and the Dean’s Teaching Award (2009). Prior to his arrival at Central Michigan University in August 2006, Dr. Spralls taught at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he received the “Summerfield Johnston Centennial Scholar Award” in 2005. Dr. Spralls was awarded the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award” at Texas Tech University in 2001. He has taught a wide variety of courses, including Strategic Marketing, E-Commerce, Business-to-Business Marketing, Services Marketing, Logistics, Retailing, Personal Selling and Sales Force Management and Principles of Marketing. However, his specialty is marketing strategy.
