Background
I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at California State University, Los Angeles. I have experience teaching various marketing courses, including marketing research, service operations management, and principles of marketing. I spent 6 years as a business analyst at The Boeing Company and 6 years as a product manager at Cheetah Logistics Technology. At Boeing, I worked on a paperless workflow management system for the C-17 military transport built for the U.S. Air force. At Cheetah, I was primarily responsible for managing features, functionality, and releases of a complex logistics business solution that consisted of twelve different software programs. These programs comprised a feature-rich, real-time dispatch, tracking, route planning and optimization, customer service, resource management, and reporting system, spanning Cloud, PC, and Smartphone platforms. After spending over a decade in corporate and institutional settings as a business analyst and product manager, I entered academia to pursue cutting edge marketing research. My research focus's on uncovering how firms can leverage the information, knowledge, and resources embedded in their organization’s customer, supplier, and political networks to increase productivity, innovation, and performance.
