Background

Dr. Jamie Weathers is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Western Michigan University in the Haworth College of Business. She moved to Michigan from Philadelphia where she completed her Ph.D. in Finance at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. She also holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. Her primary research interests are focused in in the areas of corporate innovation, mergers & acquisitions, and behavioral finance.
