    Abigail Torres Rico is a recent Ph.D. graduate, currently holding a faculty position as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Management at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is accomplished with a M.S. in Marketing Research from the same university and a B.B.A. from the prestigious University of Texas at Austin, specializing in Marketing and Communications. RESEARCH: Dr. Torres Rico's research interests center around services, technology, front-line employees, and customer interactions. Her primary focus for her dissertation research is to explore the impact of self-service technology on front-line employees and their interactions with consumers. This work is currently in development for submission to the Journal of Retailing, where she aims to contribute valuable insights to the field. Additionally, she is actively engaged in another ongoing project, currently in its second round of review at the European Journal of Marketing. TEACHING: With regard to her teaching experience, Dr. Torres Rico has taught various courses in different formats, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online, catering to both undergraduate and graduate students. Her collaboration extends to assisting numerous professors in courses such as Professional Selling, Integrated Marketing Communication (both online and in-person), and Service Marketing Management (Graduate-level). Furthermore, as an independent instructor, she has successfully prepared and delivered courses like Principles of Marketing, Buyer Behavior, and Multicultural Marketing.
