Background

My research focuses on the innovation economy and high tech sectors. I use empirical methods to examine how state and national policy foster participation of women and minority owned businesses in innovation. I am interested in how current institutions support the challenges of the innovation economy. My research examines how public policy impacts the development of inventors.
