      Background

      DeEdgra Williams is an Associate Professor of Economics at Florida A&M University (FAMU). She received her Ph.D. in economics from Florida State University and began teaching at FAMU in 2006. She became the Chair of the Professional Leadership Development and Economics Department in 2014. She teaches a variety of quantitative economics courses: Managerial Economics, Mathematical Economics, and Labor Economics. Her research areas are African American economic development, quantitative economics, public finance, microeconomics, and labor economics. And of utmost importance, her passion is encouraging others to find their passion.
