Background

Hello and thank you for viewing my profile. I would enjoy being part of a committed team of faculty who are pushing the boundaries of education at a university that is shaping the future of academia. My academic training and over 15-years of work experience as a finance/investment professional have prepared me to be an effective Finance Professor and Researcher. My research integrates several methodological procedures that include stationarity tests, cointegration tests, error correction models, regression models, in-sample/out-sampling, difference in difference methodologies, and event studies. In addition to my dissertation, other areas of research that I find interesting are risk management, investment analysis, FinTech, cryptocurrencies, and corporate finance. During my graduate training, I was fortunate to serve as an adjunct finance faculty. I found that my professional experience as a senior investment consultant, financial manager, and business manager provided me with a broad view that proved to be significantly useful in lectures. As a result, I look forward to the opportunity to teach existing courses and help develop new courses.
