Background

As a finance and technology scholar with deep roots in both academia and industry, I bring a unique blend of executive experience and research-driven insight to the evolving world of investment management. I hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Bentley University and currently serve as a Senior Research Affiliate at the CFA Institute, where my work explores the intersection of AI, big data, and digital platform ecosystems — with a particular focus on their applications in finance. With decades of leadership in investment banking across the Caribbean — including senior roles at Citibank and Butterfield Bank — I’ve built a career grounded in strategic vision and practical execution. I am a proud CFA charterholder and have actively contributed to the global investment community, including eight years of service on the Board of the Barbados CFA Society. My passion lies in bridging the gap between theory and practice. Whether through research, mentorship, or thought leadership, I’m committed to empowering the next generation of finance professionals with the tools they need to thrive in a digitally driven financial landscape.
